Nikki Blakeslee –Artistic Director/Aerial Co Director: Nikki Blakeslee has taught all over the United Sates as well as Internationally. She is currently dancing, teaching, and choreographing in Los Angeles. Nikki has worked professionally with Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Lenny Kravitz, Jane’s Addiction and Debbie Allen on stage and in television. Nikki has appeared in the Annual American Music Awards, Billboard Live Music Awards and Fame the reality series. She is also well versed in Hoop, Hammock, Tissu, Cube, and many innovative aerial apparatus. Nikki Currently, Nikki can be seen in Terry Beeman’s Mental Head Circus now playing at The King King Night Club in Hollywood.

 

LAURYN CODY A California native Lauryn has been dancing for 26 years and teaching for 15 with proficiency in jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, hip hop, contemporary, and breaking/acrobatics.  She began working in the industry at age 10 performing on nationally televised shows such as Star Search. After graduating from Edge Performing Arts Centers scholarship program she went on to perform with various artist including P. Diddy, Fergie, and Brooks and Dunn.  Lauryn has been a member of 2 NBA and 1 NFL danceteams and was a WCW Nitro Girl for TNT. In addition to dance she teaches fitness classes and can be seen most recently in Juilanne Hough's Cardio Ballroom and Dance off the Inches Country Line Dance Party.  Lauryn has choreographed for everything from NBA teams to televised fashion shows for Smashbox Cosmetics. She truely enjoys teaching children and has had students move on to dance on NBA teams, shows like Live To Dance and So You Think You Can Dance, and work for artist like Brittney Spears and Lady Gaga.  She believes that dancers are athletes and should train as so and takes a tough but fun approach to teaching!!

BRENDA HAMILTON A fifteen-year veteran of the dance and entertainment industry, Brenda has been performing in the air and training upcoming aerialists for the last seven years. She has choreographed, performed, and coached nationally and internationally alongside the talents of Michael Jackson, Lady GaGa, and Macy Gray, for clients including Bacardi, the Country Music Awards, the Staples Center, the Bellagio Hotel in Vegas, the Zodiac Show, and the Canadian Tourism Commission. Brenda is honored to be a part of the Talent Lab Community, and is committed to creating a positive and uplifting learning environment. Strength, flexibility, grace, and fluid movement are emphasized in a fun, safe, and challenging class.

 

STEPHANIE DUTCHER-NOORI Stephanie has toured the world dancing with Stiletto Entertainment. She has also been featured dancing in numerous commercials for Pepsi, ADIDAS, Amp'd Mobile, HBO, and more.  On film she appeared in the vignettes for the Mariah Carey, Adventures of Mimi tour, and has also been in videos back up dancing for pop artist Brian Anthony.  Her choreography credits include Paul Mitchell, and upcoming pop artist Jen Sian.  Stephanie is the founder of West Coast Elite Dance, and also master teaches for their convention. Stephanie has taught across the nation for dance studios and also nationally ranked dance teams.  

CELINA NIGHTENGALE was born and raised in Denver, Colorado where she started dancing at a very young age. She trained at prestigious studios such as Cleo Parker Robinson, Colorado Ballet and Hill Academy of Dance and Dramatics. She attended the University of Denver and obtained a BA in Communications/Marketing. While there she was a part of the DU Dance Team which she served as captain for three years. She also danced professionally for the Colorado Mammoth Wild Bunch serving as captain for two years. Celina had the opportunity to learn from and assist the Denver Nuggets Dancers coach Sarah Schachterle with many projects including the Junior Denver Nugget Dancers. She taught at various dance studios in Denver and continues to travel there to guest teach workshops and master classes.

After graduating, Celina accepted a scholarship to the Edge Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles California where she studied for a year. She worked with instructors such as Adam Parson, JT Horenstein, Tovaris Wilson, and Cindera Che and signed with BLOC dance agency.

Some of Celina’s credits include dancing for: Everlast Boxing Company, the NBA and NLL All-Star Games, Big and Rich, Disney’s Aladdin A Musical Spectacular, Redken 5th Avenue, ESPN, Paula Deanda, Chenelle, Jason DeRulo, and Janet Jackson. She has also had the opportunity to work alongside actors such as Rosario Dawson, Wilmer Valderrama, Jane Fonda and gossip personality Perez Hilton and can be seen on an episode of WE Tv’s My Fair Wedding. She looks forward to sharing her knowledge and passion for dance with the dancers of Talent Lab and continuing her professional career here in Los Angeles.

 

Lydia Zimmer, a native to Nova Scotia, Canada, graduated from Walnut Hill School of the Arts in '‘07 and joined the Boston Conservatory Dance Division where she received her B.F.A. ’'11 Magna Cum Laude on The Conservatory Scholarship. Lydia has trained at programs such as Canada’s National Ballet School, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, Jacob’s Pillow Contemporary Traditions, The Movement Invention Project, and Springboard Danse Montreal. Lydia is currently a freelance solo artist and an instructor of ballet and improvisation. Lydia performs as an improvisation dancer in both solo and group settings internationally, and hopes to bring a new voice to the dance scene in Los Angeles.

KC MONNIE Originally from Seattle, Washington, KC moved to LA after accepting and completing the EDGE Scholarship program in 2008. Since graduating from the scholarship program, he has most recently been seen as a principal dancer and Warbler in the box office two week limited engagement of the GLEE LIVE TOUR, “GLEE THE 3D CONCERT MOVIE!” Other feature films include, “No Strings Attached,” and the remake of the movie "Fame," choreographed by Marguerite Derricks. Other credits include, A Proactiv commercial with Julianne Hough, GLEE, Assistant Choreographer for “Easy A” and “90210,” dancing for Rihanna at the 2008 VMAs choreographed by Tina Landon, assisting Mandy Moore on numerous "SYTYCD" seasons, and being a part of LA's critically acclaimed Indie rock ballet, "The Question," directed and choreographed by JT Horenstein. He also can be seen on "Dancing with the Stars," Macy's stars of dance performance, choreographed by Dee Caspary, Marty Kedelka, and Marguerite Derricks. KC has also been lucky enough to work with choreographers such as Michael Rooney, Tony Testa, Kevin Stea, Miguel Zarate, Beyonce’s Jaquel Knight, Kitty Mcnamee, and Bob Fosse's own Mary Ann Lamb.

 

MARLA NOLAN Marla's passion for dance started at a very young age. She has been a teacher, performer and choreographer for more than 20 years, specializing in ballet, jazz, tap and acrobatics. Though she enjoys teaching all ages, she has gained a special reputation for her gentle and loving approach with the youngest of dancers who endearingly call her "Miss Marla".

 She is now very excited to be working for Talent Lab. Her past work experience includes teaching for the Los Angeles City and Conejo Valley Schools, as well as various dance studios in the area for more than 18 years.

Her goal is to inspire a love for dance in all of her students, instilling self respect, confidence, poise, grace and an appreciation for the art and joy of dance.

 

 

IRENE RUBINSKY Born in Argentina, her love for dance started at a very early age. Her ability to blend different dance styles is what makes Irene a unique teacher & choreographer. She is passionate about sharing the art of connecting with an audience and dancing from the heart. Irene has been teaching in Hollywood for 17 years and has also been invited to teach in Asia, South America and Europe.

 

ROBERT SCHULTZ Robert trained in Michigan and is from the Turning Pointe Dance Studio. As a dancer he has worked on projects like Scrubs, Fox Music Mania, Billboard awards, Late Show with Jay Leno, MTV Awards, Lady of Soul Awards and Commercials for Jack In The Box, AT&T & Pepsi. Feature Films include: She's All That, Flintstones II, Gigli, The Wedding Planner.

As choreographer he has worked on 5 episodes of Grounded for Life, Rome and Jewel movie, Ipoddy sketch - Late Show with Jay Leno, Pin Up Girls Promo Tour, Half time shows for the Avengers and Booby Trap the Musical.  Some of the artists he has worked with include Toni Braxton, Backstreet Boys, Jade, Vitamin C, Rome.
